Cookies we use

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. In accordance with the Danish Cookie Order (Cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the EU GDPR, we only set non-essential cookies after you give your consent.

• Necessary: required for the site to function, for example remembering your cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Google Analytics. Helps us understand how the site is used. Only set with your consent.
• Marketing: Google Ads. Used to measure and show advertising. Only set with your consent.

Your choice is valid for 12 months. After that, we ask again.

Forms and registration data

When you sign up for live course updates via the form on this site, your details (such as name, email, and phone number) are processed by our form provider (Tally). With your consent, we use your email address to send updates about all upcoming ExpatInvest live online courses. Signing up does not reserve a seat or require payment.

Purchases

When you buy a guide we process your name and email address and the order details to deliver the guide, send the receipt and keep accounting records. Legal basis: GDPR article 6(1)(b) (contract) and 6(1)(c) (legal obligation under the Danish Bookkeeping Act). Order records are kept for 5 years from the end of the financial year.

Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see card details. Buyers are added to a customer list in Brevo, used only for messages about the purchase, such as a new edition of the guide.

Newsletter

We only send you our newsletter, including updates about upcoming live online courses, if you tick the box. Legal basis: consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact info@expatinvest.dk to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
